The Chardonnay for Passobianco is cultived on the steep terraces of contrade Guardiola and Montedolce between 850 and 950 meters / 2788 and 3116 feet where it develops an expression of joyous elegance and a deep minerality.

A perfect wine for aperitif, for pairing with fish and seafood, antipasti and summer pasta.

Passobianco rises from the encounter between Chardonnay and the volcanic soils of our contrade on Mount Etna where it digs its roots into pure lava dust and rocks, rich in minerals. It is aged in cement vats and large oak casks for 10 months.
